11-13 January Qualifications to 2nd BC Card Cup were played. This time Korea team get really good result. Especially ama players from Korea shocked whole world with they strength.

Park Jungwhan Defend Siptan Title
7-10 January Park Junghwan and Lee Changho played in 5th Siptan final. Last year Park Jungwhan knockout Lee Changho in semifinal, but this time they met in final.

Park Jungwhan – 14th Chunwon
15-23 December 2009, Park Jungwhan 4p and Kim Jiseok 6p played in the final of 14th Chunwon. Chunwon is tournament with specific system. Champion must play all games to defend the title, so it was no surprise that in the final there is no last years finalists(Lee Sedol 9p and Kang Dongyun 9p).
