Song Ronghui continues her crusade
In first stage of 7th Jeongganjang Cup end with big success for Song Ronghui. She won all first 4 games. Everyone was shocked with her great score. After break in 2 stage of tournament the biggest question is who will stop Song Ronghui? Today Korean Baduk Master Kim Hyeoimin 5p didn’t make it :(
In opening both side play very solid. I add some variation to sgf file. Situation in bottom right corner reminded me training camp with Cho Seokbin 7d. If white try to live in corner black have great tesuji (see variation). After black 57 Kim Hyeoimin decide to lightly reduce black influence. IMHO this is decisive move of the game. I thought that playing on bottom side is more valuable. In the end Song Ronghui manage to play at 95 and game was in black favour.
Later there were also one key point. After 151 white groups were in danger, but black some profit. The final blow was black 213 which cut white in two pieces. After 215 move Kim Hyeoimin resigned. Tommorow one Japan team member will face Song Ronghui and will try to stop her. I’m very curious how many more game will Song Ronghui will win.
