End of 2nd part of 7th Jeongganjang
In last game of 2nd stage of 7th Jeongganjang Li He 1p beat Umezawa Yukari 5p. This mean that Japan team were kicked from 3rd stage. Korea also have small chance to win title, but everyone are enjoying this tournament.
Li He again took black stones. Umezawa Yukari play little hasty and give black chance to attack to obtain some strength (black 17, 21). Later white have some problems with reduction black moyo. White 70 is little too much, black get sente to attack black in center to get solid profit. Of course from killing white blackwas far away and Li He was forced to back with 105 (check SGF to see what would happen if Li He blocked at 106). Black get initiative.
On Chinese website i found interesting variation instead of white 172 (check SGF). Variations are complicated, but it looks black need to give up something. Unfortunately after 280 moves Li He won by 12,5 points.
2nd stage of Jeongganjang end and some may think that Japan and Korea teams will have bad memories from this two stages. I think they won’t. Playing in team tournament is very enjoyable and I am sure that Lee Minjin show great fight after 2 months of break. Maybe she even beat all rising star from China :)
