China won Jeongganjang Cup
9 March, Li He 1p from China beat Lee Minjin 5p from Korea and won 7th Jeongganjang title for China team. With this victory China dominated Jeongganjang tournament by losing only one game and winning 9 games with only two members.
Game started typical for female match with fighting spirit form the beginning , but the main fight strted with white 52. This fight was very long and complex, but imho the result was better for white. Li He of course even after gaining lead don’t hesitates to play extremely strong moves and with white 166 started killing black big dragon. After 216 moves Lee Minjin resigned.
7th Jeongganjang was great show how well-known veteran Yu Bin 9p can prepare team for tournament, if he have young talented members. In last years Yu Bin 9p done impressive job. Few years ago only trump card was Rui Naiwei 9p, but because of some misunderstanding she is no longer member of China team.
