China is leading in 8th Jeongganjang

24 September, 3rd match of Jeongganjang Cup was played between Wang Chenxing 1p from China and Yun Jihee 2p from Korea. Wang Chenxing won this game by resignation and secure prize for three consecutive victories.
Immediately approach
Wang Chenxing again took white stones and like in first game play approach in her second move. It looks like she couldn’t wait to fight with Korean female masters. First main fight happened on right side. White had two weak group and black only one which was cutting them, so situations looked promising for Yun Jihee. Of course Wang Chenxing show again fighting spirit and settled her group after white 72.
Meaningless thickness
Thx to fight in right and bottom side Yun Jihee build nice thickness and when she play double approach I was sure that black will build nice moyo on left side. Unfortunately Yun Jihee choose another flow of the game :( In my opinion black 89 should be first hane and then connect. Game turned into many small fights, but white gets lead on territory, Black needed to get some points by attacking white weak group in center.
Hallucination
In complex fight, Yun Jihee loss herself and play small endgame sente when her huge corner was in big danger. Wang of course ignore this small move and kill big corner. After this only chance to victory for Yun Jihee was to kill white in center, which of course was impossible. After 196 moves Wang Chienxing won by resignation. Tommorow she will play last game in 1st stage of Jeongganjang Cup against Japanese master.
