2008 Hi Seoul World Businessmen
Włodzimierz Malinowski with Yoon Yoongsun 4p
From 21 to 27 September my friend Włodzimierz Malinowski was in Seoul at World Businessmen Baduk Fair. Poland were represented by 3 players: Janusz Kraszek, Krzysztof Moszczyński and Wlodzimierz Malinowski.In beggining they should play in one team in team tournament, but organizers change the formula and divide the 80 participants from around the world for 20 teams.
Janusz Kraszek former (1983) European Go Champion
The best result got Janusz Kraszek 5d – Polish multiple champion and champion of Europe. He end with score 4 win of 5 games. Games were very interesting and everyone enjoy time in Seul. Especially that Korean organizer prepare calligraphy show. Another very pleasant moment was when they met many players from Korea, who remember very nice their stay in Poland for Congress in Tuchola in 2004. The last thing is the way to how Korean pros show amateurs their mistakes. Very simple and intuitive way of learning Baduk. Below you can found some photos:

BTW: Lee Hajin 3p and On Sojin 4p – my favourite professional player – won Bronze medal in Pair Go on WMSG. Congratulation!!!

Yes. For sure there were: Sergey Reshetnikov, Vladimir 4-5d from Ilzewska, Andriej and Anastasia from Wladywostok.
