Rui Naiwei Defend 11th Myeongin
8 February, 3rd and last game of the final of 11th Female Myeongin was played between Rui Naiwei 9p and Cho Hyeyeon 8p. Rui Naiwei won the game by resignation after 179 moves.
In opening Cho Hyeyeon (white) play weird move of white 30. Latter Rui Naiwei get chance to start fight with black 39. This turn game into chaoting fighting, which is good for Rui Naiwei. Cho Hyeyeon lost in the middle fight. Rui Naiwei kill Cho Hyeyon big dragon and won the game after 179 moves.
It’s pity that Cho Hyeyeon didn’t won the title. It’s third year in the row when she lost in this final against Rui Naiwei. Maybe next year?
